It will take some nice pictures but it also has a lot of false triggers and some distorted pictures. I like the durable case which seems to be quite weather proof. I did not like the strap to mount the camera to the tree. It was difficult to cinch tight so I managed to break it soon after I started using the camera. I've been using the internal memory which will hold about 50 pictures. The camera shows up as an external drive on my PC and the pictures are easy to access and work with. After buying a couple of sets of 8 D-cell batteries I decided to get some NIMH rechargeables. The camera seems to work well with these batteries. I think the camera is a little over priced for its performance so I can't give it high marks for value but I think if performs reasonably well.
